Is it Time to Move out? Huh You only 14 ? oh Ok !!

Helen, Penny and Myself we all had a Boy and a Girl, and As always we always think our kids are the most beautiful born ever.......When they born, and you go to the Window and look at them and think mmmm oh dear Hope thats not mine or mmm looks like the Father ..huh perhaps I can take that  one and Run ?? but remember you are basically still stoned from all that happy gas they gave you so you dont think straight ..!

 I know right..Cute ay ! :-)

I had 2 beautiful kids , Garreth was the most beautiful baby out, 3.6kg and very much a mommys boy, loved drinking boob! I think I had extra cream in mine because he just drank and drank ..it was ideal, as breast milk was the right temperature, always had enough and when he finished both boobs i would have to quickly drink some coke as that believe it or not filled me up quick...Then of course the after effects..Gas...mm Lets not go there..but other than that he was soooo cute until ahhh 10, no hang  on 12 .. actually he was a typical boy.  We would keep an eye on him all the time if he was not in his room he would be on top of the roof trying to do a Johnny Knoxville stunt or a Tony Hawks stunt, but always busy I think he had ADD OR AKOTM (A Kid on the Move) well thats what I would call it..

He got his fair share of hidings, but our wooden spoons were called Elvis because they would sing like him, they always disappeared, and found them hidden in Garreths Room. He was adored and a very smart kid. I could write forever on what he has been up to but that will come at a later stage, Garreth is My life, and he is 21 Now and wish they were small again, there is a time where I have to let go, and he has made decisions in his life which has not gone favorable in his direction, but how else are they going to learn if they don't make there own mistakes and learn from that ?

The Thing is they go to school and then by 18 assume they are independent and want to move out , and i cannot fault that as I was the same,  wanted to move in with friends as it sounded like so much fun...i think it lasted 3 months...with us...but they dont realise all the other expenses they have to pay like water, groceries and generally day to day living...but if you dont try it how do you know what its like...

Im very proud of him and even though we argue he will still by my little boy, he always hugs and kisses me goodbye and goodnight and Im greatful for every minute I spend with him, Because I them to grow up and Remember Good Times.

2 years Later then Came along Candice, she was like 4.2kgs wow a big girl, but also like Garreth loved her breastmilk, and I think thats why I have such a close connection to them....
Sad part is I remember alot of what Garreth did yet Candy I think because she was such a good baby never gave me any issues always played dolls by herself,  she would walk around with about 3 bags full of dolls clothes and pram and just play , too gorgeous.  She loved dolls and the one day I made play dough doodle and put it in her dolls nappy, and I called her and she was so flabbergasted her face expression...was sooo funny the tongue out and was disgusted...lol thats what i had to do for both of them as they were scared to poo in the toilet so i made a fake poo with flour , coffee and water , and dropped it quietly int he toilet and WALLA it worked i clapped hands and they clapped hands and its history from there on...

Candy is very much a Mommys girl, and very proud of her decisions 90% of the time. If we argue she will always write me letter and I LOVE HER for that, we are best mates and worry about her alot but dont show it otherwise its difficult for them to become independent...

So the big question we say to our kids when you moving out?  You guys need to be Independent and this and that......but Once they move out I wonder, actually I will Know i will stress more and wonder if they eating or if they ok, are they doing there washing? Do I need to order groceries online ? do they have enough Money? Being a Parent we will worry until we are 90 and I rest easily when they at home and as much as I moan I DO love them being at home..Thats what the whole Parent thing is all about isnt it ?

I LOVE MY KIDS AND HOPE THEY APPRECIATE EVERYTHING AROUND THEM AND LOVE AND RESPECT THOSE PEOPLE AROUND THEM..

(To end this off with a Laugh...When they were 10 & 12 we said to them we have to talk and they both sat at the table and advised them that we are financially struggling and that One of them have to go , they looked at each other and said You going Im staying..and we couldnt stop laughing!!
