Lets re-iterate on each one shall we, this is just my personal version..no pun intended for all the wonderful husbands out there...
1. This is a subject which some will disagree...So funny how when you get married and its like 24/7
at the beach, in the car, and were so adventurous.
- Then Kids come, and its like no more face to face because then the milk will squirts in his face, or you will wake up the baby, hurry babe...or plain and simple im Exhausted..
- Life changes you completely because from being the one and only who got all the attention now the kids get all the attention and him 2nd, and its sad to say i think too that this is where Husbands feel alone or neglected, as a woman having a baby it comes to us naturally, yet When Men become fathers they have no clue..some go astray and find that "attention"elsewhere" ...
- You have to talk about it how it effects you (male) just because we dont want "nookie" does not mean we DONT LOVE YOU...ITS just a 24hr job cleaning, changing nappies, catching up with eating, napping, me time , and just to name a few.
- Communicate or have a date night, the older we get, and trust me im speaking from experience, we will go to the beach..deserted of course..and try and be adventerous but its like as if you go camping....and need no 2 ... u go in the bushes and do it but you look around,,,to see if anyone is looking.........hence why it always looks like a figure 8 !!!! same with the beach you scared you going to be caught...can you imagine ! Parent caught in bushes with Partner...and these are the things we tell our kids to not do and be safe...pfff
- You must have fun so they dont go looking elsewhere..actually back in our days wow we talking when i was like 30 i decided to stand on a corner and hubby did a u turn and was going to pick me up...but within that 2 minutes other cars were slowing down , looking at me...Business would of been good in those days..lol kidding yip got picked up by hubby and it was fun.
- so if sex life is not good ...BLAME THE KIDS !! :0)
2. I use to be very quiet and naive ..never spoke back and when i met my husband he opened my whole world on how to stand up for myself...i think at times he wish he didnt....but Marriage is all about expressing ourselves...Men hate being told they wrong..well some of them, like i say if you give it learn to take it...if you cant well tough takkies !!
3. Now this is soooo weird, I love cleaning, make sure my house is neat and smells nice, love candles and they always burning..and as hubby works away ...when he comes back, Oh Boy, beer bottles lying around, tools all over, clothes next to his bed........WORST OF ALL...toilet roll on floor,,,on the 3rd day, he wants to know why is this place a mess...i just want to throttle him..ARE YOU SERIOUS!! and when they clean the kitchen WE HAVE TO COMMENT and say thank you. which i do but why only does he have to get the compliment...i dont,...i dont understand ..hopefully one day i will.
4. Well Know can you imagine, this if we are like prey mantis ...scenario...
- Hey honey i made your favorite meal, you want a beer, i have a surprise for you smiling and blowing a kiss..and him smiling back...
- walk in room with red lingerie, hubby all excited have amazing nookie...and nek minute i have my dinner and eat him.. I mean really.. can you imagine, perhaps i watch too much CSI movies...ha ha
You know talk about marriage i have been married for almost 23 years ( I think) and we have had our ups and downs, but we deal with them words are said which can be hurtful , but you have to work around these issues so they dont re accur.
I must say i was so annoyed with my husband that i put him on a Asian Dating web site..i made sure no quick green card, put a picture of him on there , made sure they knew how to clean and cook etc...
2 days later i checked and he had over 20 requests...bugger that i took him off so quickly...have threatened him i will re do it..ha ha
My hubby does work away hence we been married for so long, I do love him, but man does he annoy me at times...
on a good note some rules...
